At Madrasah Raudhatul Uloom, our mission is to nurture each student’s understanding of Islam and support their spiritual, moral, and personal growth. We aim to equip learners with the ability to reflect on their lives through a lens of God-consciousness, rooted in Islamic principles.
Our ethos is built upon the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. These values shape not only our curriculum but also the way we interact with others, uphold good character, and care for the world around us. Respect, humility, and integrity are at the heart of everything we do.
This ethos is reflected in our learning environment, where encouragement, praise, and positive reinforcement are central to our teaching approach. Staff maintain high expectations in both academic and spiritual development, fostering respectful and supportive relationships with pupils. Every member of our team strives to embody the values we teach, serving as role models and mentors for our students.
Our Aims:
• To create a welcoming and respectful atmosphere where strong relationships between staff and pupils enhance the learning experience.
• To help pupils build confidence, self-respect, and a deep understanding of their faith, while encouraging responsibility towards themselves, their families, and the wider community.
• To offer staff meaningful opportunities for both professional and spiritual growth within a united and dedicated team.
• To instil a love for Allah ﷻ and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, encouraging students to live with constant awareness of their Creator.
• To pass on the light of guidance, the Qur’an and Sunnah, so that future generations can lead themselves and others with wisdom.
• To deliver high-quality Islamic education in a nurturing and inspiring setting.
• To promote the moral, religious, and spiritual development of every learner.
• To foster enthusiasm, self-confidence, and mutual respect.
• To develop reflective thinking, social awareness, and lifelong learning skills

At Madrasah Raudhatul Uloom, your child’s safety and well-being are our highest priority. We aim to maintain a caring environment where every pupil feels secure, both on-site and beyond madrasah hours.
Safeguarding at our madrasah goes further than supervision. Through tailored lessons, practical workshops, and focused assemblies, we equip students to identify potential risks, make safe choices online and offline, and speak up if they ever feel unsure.
We work in close partnership with you. Should concerns arise about a child’s welfare, we are legally required to take action and will liaise with the Police, Children’s Social Care, and health professionals as needed. While we endeavour to keep you informed of any referrals, there may be times when external agencies advise a temporary delay this is always in the best interest of the child and in line with safeguarding legislation.
If you have any concerns regarding a child’s safety, please contact our Safeguarding Team on +44 7831 547728
and ask for Mawlana Sufyaan (Headteacher) or Mawlana Talhah (Designated Safeguarding Leads).
For urgent matters outside madrasah hours, you can also call:
– Children’s Social Care: 0116 454 1005
– Police (non-emergency): 101 Emergency: 999
Thank you for your continued trust and collaboration in protecting our children
